Happy New Year from the team at BrightNight Power. We are reaching out to you as BrightNight is proposing a 1000 MW solar and battery storage facility in south Wasco County, called the Deschutes Project.

The project team has worked closely with the community in Wasco County for more than two years to site this project in an intentional way that minimizes impacts to surrounding properties.

Now, BrightNight is planning to file a Notice of Intent for this project in the coming weeks. This will formally kick off the public part of the permitting process. But before we do that, we wanted to ensure you had an opportunity to meet the BrightNight team, learn about the plans in Wasco County, and provide feedback to the project team directly.

Please join us for a Public Information Meeting to learn more. The details are below.

What: Public Information Meeting on the Deschutes Solar and Storage Project
When: Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025
Time: 4:00pm — 6:00pm
Where: 57594 Tygh Valley Rd., Tygh Valley, OR 97063

Learn about the project’s economic benefits, development timeline, mitigation plans, community contributions, and more. Please bring your questions—we’d love to hear them.
