The Malta Chamber believes that low achievement levels in our education system and the underperformance of our educational system became an endemic challenge that has hardly improved over the last decades, requiring the country to commit publicly to bold objectives and implement drastic measures. The 2023 European Year of Skills is an excellent opportunity to raise the culture of learning and its leadership, further up on our national agenda. There are EU instruments to respond to labour market needs, such as mobility schemes, upgrading Vocational Educational Training (VET) and forecasting tools. For such purposes, our National Conference, with the participation of the Government and education stakeholders, will focus on bringing all players together to contribute towards positive change.

The Annual General Meeting of The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry will be held on Tuesday, 28th March at 4.30 pm.  The meeting will be held at The Malta Chamber although it will be possible for members to participate online.
