Trail for Treats
If Broadway Businesses would like to sign so they're included on the print promotions, here's the link fo that (also covers some safety suggestions) : https://forms.gle/3nJzgq76vSwiGYGP8
Thank-you for your interest in participating in Downtown Oak Grove's Trail for Treats will be Thursday - October 29th from 5 to 7 PM.
To be included on all print promotions (to be distributed at the Primary and Elementary), please complete this form by Wednesday, October 21st at 8 PM. I will be printing out a flyer with all participating businesses listed and the day of the event we will deliver your business a marker so families know to stop at your place of business.
In attempt to continue this tradition while still being mindful of the CDC's recommendations for Halloween activities, here are some of the suggestions I found to keep ourselves and our community safe:
Encourage 6 Foot Social Distancing
Activities should be outside
Instead of handing candy out, offer goody bags on a table for Children to grab & go
Instead of handing candy out, place a dish with candy on a table for Children to grab & go
I look forward to carrying on this fun Oak Grove tradition to provide the Children of our great Community a small slice of normalcy while still keeping them safe.
