Sensory play is a fully accessible program for children with any special needs, including those on the autism spectrum, their siblings and friends. Sessions include modified open play and special programming.  These 90-minutes play sessions will be held monthly on the first Thursday of every month from 2:30-4:00 pm.

Help us celebrate fifteen years of service to the community and the world! Rejoice in our accomplishments, meet current members and learn about our plans for the future. Celebrate our past award winners' accomplishments as well as recognize past and current members, our partners and supporters, who helped make the club what it is today - a vital community partner and champion for women and girls. There will be a brief program complete with a fun retrospective video showing the club's activities over the years. Additionally, there will be appetizers, beverages, a raffle opportunity, and, of course, a birthday cake.

Soroptimist International of Rancho Cordova & Gold River is proud to announce its 15th anniversary of dedicated service to the community. To mark this significant milestone, we invite you to join us for a special birthday bash on September 7th, from 1-3 PM, at the stunning Mills Arts & Culture Center (MACC) in Rancho Cordova, located at 10191 Mills Station Rd., Rancho Cordova, CA 95670.
 
The celebration will highlight the achievements of our organization and our awardees, fostering fellowship and fun. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet past award recipients, connect with our amazing members and partners, enjoy delicious appetizers and cake, and even win raffle prizes, all within the magnificent ambiance of the MACC.
 
Highlights of Our Accomplishments:
  • $30,000 donated to over 30 Head of Household women and Live Your Dream participants, wanting to further their education
  • 100+ holiday stockings filled for women veterans receiving care at the VA
  • More than 500 homeless teen girls received new undergarments boosting their self-esteem
  • Over 1,500 women and girls improved their self-confidence after receiving our Comfort Kits
  • 750+ girls saved from human trafficking through the Dress A Girl Around the World program

The Folsom Concert Association is bringing five nationally and internationally acclaimed concerts to the Sacramento region for its 2024 - 2025 season!

The Building Buddies exhibition portrays a small community where everyone is busy working on their homes. Different characters, “buddies”, invite young children to play, explore, collaborate, create and learn while improving the “neighborhood”!

The goal of this exhibition is to provide a discovery environment that encourages the development of science and process skills at an early age, as well as promote social interactions between visitors. It will be at SCM from September 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, open Wednesdays through Sundays!

Dao Distillery is set to host a special grand opening & ribbon cutting event on Saturday, September 21st from 10 AM – 6 PM. The event kicks off at 10 AM with a religious blessing and cultural ritual, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony, firecracker and dragon dance, beginning at 10:30 AM. Ribbon Cutting at 11:00 AM

There will also be complimentary tasting, drinks and food beginning at 11 AM, featuring a whole roasted pig and various Vietnamese dishes.

The distillery produces Rượu đế, a traditional Vietnamese liquor crafted from rice. Bottles will be 20 percent off at the grand opening event.

This event takes place in the City of Rancho Cordova, which is part of the Sacramento region.
