3/2/2022 -4/30/2022 | Green Door Art Gallery proudly presents The Nature of Things, art inspired by the natural world, featuring laser cut wood mandalas by Karen DeGuire, charcoal and pastel paintings and clay mixed media sculptures by Laura Lebeda, plein air oil paintings by Jodie Maurer, wood wall sculptures by Anthony Scheffler, and silver, brass and copper jewelry by Andrienne Williams. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The artwork in this exhibit will be available for sale March 2 – April 30, 2022 Green Door Art Gallery’s 35 resident artists will also be exhibiting and selling artwork including fused glass, mosaics, watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings, collage, mixed media, wood, pottery, textile art, jewelry and more. Spring Forward gives artists and budding artists an opportunity to express hope and new beginnings--all on a pre-cut plywood shape. Artists and budding artists can purchase the plywood shapes for $25, then turn them into artwork using materials of their choice. All proceeds from this project will support Webster Arts educational outreach programs. Participants may pick up plywood shapes at Webster Arts, beginning the week of February 14 through February 25. Participants can drop off completed works during Webster Arts regular business hours, Monday – Friday, 9:30-4:30 once completed.
