One lucky shopper will Win their Purchase each day! We will draw from the day's receipts on Facebook Live at the end of each day. We will also be holding a cereal box drive to benefit Boys Hope Girls Hope St. Louis. Bring in a new, unopened cereal box and you will earn an extra ticket for our Gift Basket Giveaway! Donations will also be collected for Boys Hope Girls Hope and will earn you an extra ticket as well. Last year we were able to donate over 50 boxes of cereal-help us beat that number this year! 8/25/2023 | Historical figures in celebration of Women's Right to Vote will perform at the Webster Groves Public Library to commemorate the 19th amendment to the constitution. All performers will appear in costume, in a unique time-traveling interview format. The event is free and open to the public.
Susan B. Anthony will share her story of when the woman’s movement in the 19th century became respected, even applauded, after being reviled and denounced for decades. Anthony is joined by Ida B. Wells, crusader and journalist who formed an interracial suffrage organization. Josephine Pearson was a Tennessee ANTI-suffrage leader who tried to stop the movement to give women the vote. All performers will appear in costume, in a unique, time-traveling interview format. Rebecca Now, former director of the Webster Groves, Shrewsbury, Rock Hill Area Chamber of Commerce, will interview the three time-traveling historical figures. more info... |
