20th annual “Recovery Happens” event will be held in Willows this year on Sept. 19, 2024 at Jensen Park under the gazebo from 2-6PM
This is an annual public event held in September to celebrate people in recovery and those who support them.
This event aims to reduce stigma and build a community of support. In addition to resources, the event will have food, ice cream, music, speakers, games and more. In honor of our late beloved Michael Jordan and the message of recovery he carried, we are encouraging clients, community members and staff to submit a form of poetry to showcase at Recovery Happens.
We will provide a raffle ticket for submission, and bonus raffle tickets for presentation of their poetry at the event.
