In preparation for our Kirkin ‘o’ the Tartan, Jerry Paul, a genealogy hobbyist, will present a Genealogy 101 session on how to get started on your quest with little to no cost, or if investing in one or more of the genealogy sites like Ancestry.com, or a DNA test are options for your search. He has helped several friends and acquaintances with their journeys to the past. While not a professional genealogist, he has spent hundreds of hours researching various records of families from Scandinavia, Africa, and Indigenous Americas. Bring your questions and family lore. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
