This is a laid-back, go-as-you-please event that entails a search by registered hikers for the mighty and semi-accessible (?) Pikes Peak Bigfoot. The hunt will take place on the north side of Pikes Peak, on the outskirts of the town Green Mountain Falls, in the foothills (Bratton-Dewey trail), infamously known to have sightings of the smelly beast. Think of this as geocaching and Where’s Waldo, with a hairy twist. Pre-registered participants will get a chance to win $500 worth of local non-cringy merch!Wednesday, September 18, 2024
