In honor of National Veterans Small Business Week (NVSBW), we're hosting a free virtual roundtable to help military service members, veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, and their spouses learn about small business and federal contracting resources specifically available for U.S. Service Members and Veterans!
Starting a small business is a rewarding path and the SBA is here to help members of the military community evaluate that path, take their first steps, and navigate any questions or obstacles that may follow. Whether you’re transitioning from military service or have been considering business ownership after a past military career, the SBA has resources for entrepreneurs at any stage.
During this webinar you will hear from the Veteran Business Outreach Center (VBOC) Director, Richard Coffel about the services and resources they provide. You will also hear from other SBA resource partners. You will learn about SBA's federal contracting programs just for service-disabled Veterans, as well as how Veteran-owned small businesses can access federally owned personal property that is no longer in use.
But wait... there's more! We'll have special guests—local veteran business owners who will speak about their experiences with SBA and how it has helped their small businesses.
As part of National Small Business Week (NSBW), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) solicits award nominations in different categories for outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and for those supporting small businesses in all 50 states and U.S. territories. Awards are given at the district level and/or national level.
Join us for a webinar to learn about the SBA National Small Business Week award nomination process, nominee and nominator eligibility criteria, nomination package requirements, evaluation criteria, and tips for writing an award-winning nomination!
