A community drum circle is a gathering of individuals who come together to create music and rhythm using various percussion instruments such as drums, shakers, and tambourines. This inclusive and interactive event provides an opportunity for people of all ages and skill levels to connect through the universal language of music. Please bring your own drums, shakers, and other percussion instruments along with your own camp chairs and other things.
Participants in a community drum circle are encouraged to express themselves freely through their instrument, contributing to the collective sound and energy of the group. The rhythmic patterns created during the drum circle can be both meditative and energizing, promoting a sense of unity and harmony among those involved.
Our community drum circle will take place in nature at Mill Creek. This will participants to connect with nature while engaging in musical expression. These events may also be facilitated by experienced musicians or drum circle leaders who guide the group through different rhythms and exercises.
Wheelchair accessible bathrooms are onsite and there will be a potluck dinner to follow. If you would like to participate please bring your favorite potluck food.
