Since 2009, the San Juan Education Foundation has been honoring exceptional San Juan Unified alumni. Our "An Evening with the Stars" gala aims to inspire learning and raise funds to provide San Juan Unified teachers and students with the resources and opportunities integral to innovation and curiosity.
Join us this year in person as we celebrate our Hall of Fame inductees!
Plant trees, beautify our schools, increase shade, slow climate change and teach our children the benefits of trees.

Volunteers must ALSO go to www.sanjuan.edu/volunteer to be approved to be on San Juan USD campuses.
Volunteers should bring a reusable water bottle, gloves, and a shovel to participate in this project.

Grab your friends, family, and pets and head to Carmichael Park on October 23, 2022, for Carmichael's First Annual Barktober Festival!
Carmichael's Barktober Festival is the new must-attend pet-friendly event. This fur-friend inspired fall festival will be held at Carmichael Park, complete with doggy-and-me games, activities, demonstrations, a pet costume contest, local pet-friendly business vendor booths, music, pumpkin patch, food trucks, pet adoptions by local rescues, and more! With hundreds of local residents and their pets expected in attendance, media coverage, and so many cute fur friends, this is the place to be! And let's not forget Carmichael Park is home to a great dog park to run around during the event as well. A portion of all proceeds will benefit Carmichael Dog Park directly.
Attendance is FREE! Well-behaved, vaccinated, leashed fur-friends are welcome and encouraged to attend!
PET COSTUME CONTEST: We will be having a panel of wonderful judges vote on who has the best costumes! Here are the categories with awards for each category:
Best overall, Best duo(adult owners and their pet in coordinating costumes), Best Junior Duo (kid owners and their pet in coordinating costumes), Most Unique, Best Showmanship (let's see those tricks in costume), Best non-dog Pet costume (lizards, snakes, cats, birds, etc), Tiny but Mighty (small breed/puppy category).
