Edita Cruz

I provide general mentorship on how to run a small to medium size non-profit organization. Emphasis on focusing on the bottom line, running a non-profit like a for-profit, avoiding common pitfalls, managing the board, how to make collaborations work for your non-profit, finding your niche, imagining real world scenarios and succession planning. I spent 18 years as Executive Director of Martha's Kitchen after working in high tech for almost 30 years. I am a founding Board Member of Hunger at Home and a recipient of The Jefferson Award.

You know how hard it is to get out there as a professional and meet people? How much of a struggle it can be to find the perfect place to connect with local community members who complement your business? That's why the Foster City Chamber, among other things, holds Mix and Mingles locally to give you the opportunity to meet business professionals and grow your network in ways that can boost your business. We do this so you can sleep better at night, knowing that if something comes up and you need a realtor, restaurant, auditor, etc., you personally know someone who can get the job done for you and you don't have to rely on a stranger.

Join us at Edgewater Marine on June 18th from 5 to 7 p.m. for wine, pizza, cookies, and other adult beverages. Sit on a boat and sip wine, mingle with local professionals and SCORE members, grow professionally, and build your network.

The Small Business Council unites small business members to address common problems and collaboratively explore ways the Chamber can create inventive and valuable solutions that meet their needs. The Small Business Council serves as a platform for small business owners to have their voices heard and to work together towards common goals. By sharing their experiences and insights, members can help shape the direction of the Chamber's small business initiatives.

The Council provides opportunities for members to learn from each other and grow their businesses. The Chamber is committed to supporting the success of small businesses, and the Small Business Council is an essential part of that effort. Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting out, we invite you to join us and be a part of this dynamic community.

Each month a member will present about their business.  Join us to learn more!
