The Contractor’s Auction at the Michiana Event Center is a highly anticipated event for construction professionals and enthusiasts alike. Scheduled for February 24, 2024, this auction offers an extensive selection of trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and tools. From concrete and construction tools to air tools and hoses, both new and used items will be available for bidding, catering to a wide range of construction, excavation, and woodworking needs.
The auction will take place indoors across 100,000 square feet with over 10 rings, providing ample space for all types of items. Consignment drop-offs will be held from February 20th to 23rd, allowing individuals to sell their equipment or tools. The event opens at 9:00 AM, with bidding starting promptly, and will run until 12:30 PM.
This auction is a perfect opportunity for contractors, builders, and hobbyists to find quality equipment at competitive prices. With various commission rates based on the sale price, the auction offers a transparent and easy process for both buyers and sellers. Payments can be made via cash, check, or credit card, and a 10% buyers premium will be added to purchases.

The Michiana Event Center will host an exciting circus event, in Shipshewana, Indiana. The performances feature thrilling acts for all ages, including the legendary Urias Family Globe of Death. Known for their breathtaking motorcycle stunts, the Urias family has been perfecting this daredevil act for five generations. Visitors can watch as multiple riders defy gravity, performing at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour inside a 16-foot steel sphere.
In addition to the Globe of Death, audiences will be dazzled by Duo Surnina, two sisters from Kazakhstan who showcase acrobatics, contortion, and aerial artistry. Another highlight is the Hog Diggity Dog show, featuring talented animals and their human caretakers, creating a unique blend of humor and heartwarming moments.
The circus offers more than just incredible performances; it’s an event the whole family can enjoy, with pre-show activities such as a bouncy house, face painting, and horse rides.
