Events in the month of February 2022
2/2/2022 - 2/26/2022
February is typically the month we celebrate our favorite sweetheart for Valentine’s Day but this month RAL artists present their masterful creations of ANYTHING that they love.  Will it be a loved pet, a child, grandchild or favorite vacation destination?  Works could include a much-loved home, plant or flower.  The sky is the limit as RAL plays host to this exciting exhibition.  We hope you find something you love when you visit the RAL Art Center this month.
2/2/2022 - 2/26/2022
Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and the body. It slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect. In many cultures blue is believed to bring peace and keep bad spirits at bay. RAL artists will be creating works this month using blue as their inspiration.  Join us in February to see how your favorite artist incorporates the color blue:  will it be a blue subject, a blue background, shades of blue as a monochromatic design?  Come visit and see!
2/4/2022
The GLC staff will be ready to help with pour decisions from 11:00-8:00. Wine Down is 5:00-8:00 on Fridays and includes live music and food truck service (outside food is allowed). We have a new music lineup for 2022, and the food trucks vary from week to week. Visit our event page on FB or website for details.

We have indoor and outdoor seating. The covered porch has patio heaters (ask for help) and adjacent green space with fire pits (ask for help when lighting).

We’re pet friendly too — friendly, leashed dogs are allowed. Please note that we have eleven hounds of our own on site; meet our Grape Vine Patrol Squad on our website.
2/6/2022

This is a popular, weekly event at Good Luck Cellars (GLC) and one you must enjoy if you’re in the area. We make fresh sangria each week, featuring a GLC wine. We make a different recipe each week -- sometimes it’s white, and sometimes it’s red. During the colder months, we make a warm, seasonal version that’ll warm the soul :0)

When it’s gone…it’s gone…until the next Sunday, of course, when we make a new batch. Come Sip and Sangria with us.

IMPORTANT NOTE: SANGRIA IS NOT SERVED ON DURING THE CORKS & OYSTERS EVENTS IN APRIL & NOVEMBER.

The spinning of fibers to create thread and yarn has been going on since pre-history. Fiber spinning was once a matter of survival to provide humans with clothing, ropes, and shelter. Now spinning has become an art craft and the resulting product can be used in other art crafts like knitting, weaving, crochet, and more. You may be surprised how simple the process actually is. Come learn how to get started in this craft that is both meditative and functional. The instructor will provide drop spindles and carded sheep’s wool for attendees.  These will also be available for sale following the class, if desired.
