Come and be sew-cial and meet other quilters and sewers in the community. Community Sew-cials are held at Irvington Baptist Church parish hall. Hours are 10:00 am-4:00 pm and you can stay for all or part of the time. The church will provide tables, chairs, and electricity. Bring all the supplies you need for the day as well as lunch, beverages, and snacks. Or, head across the street to The Local or The Office Bistro and grab something to eat and drink.
Proceeds from your reservation fee of $10 will be donated to the church for the use of their facilities.
Need sewing supplies? Stop by Sewlovelee (4504 Irvington Road), right down the road from the church.

Join Friends of the Rappahannock and state park staff, and renowned birding extraordinaire UMW professor Andrew Dolby for a winter bird hike at Belle Isle State Park.Meet in the Visitor Center parking lot.
Be prepared to hike several miles through muddy and wet ground.
Binoculars are highly recommended.
$5 parking fee applies.

This event has brave participants of all ages plunging into the frigid waters of Indian Creek to raise money for Camper Scholarships, a fund which ensures every child gets to experience Camp Kekoka regardless of their ability to pay.We promise this will be a memorable, relationship/team building, fun experience you will be talking about for a long time. PLUS the added benefit—it’s for a great cause! To compete in the Team Category you must have a minimum of (3) and raise a minimum of $1,000 (sends 2 youth to camp). Raise $3,500 and your team gets a unique experience at Camp Kekoka!
