The Irvington Farmers Market celebrates area farms and the best quality local produce available. We’re talking amazing farm-to-table! We showcase brilliant vendors from across the region who offer fabulous hand-crafted items and amazing food!
You'll find artisanal cheeses, local honey, meat, and seafood. Vendors with handmade crafts, jewelry, and clothing. Beautiful handcrafted furniture, baskets, soaps, glassware, and artwork of all kinds. A cornucopia of food, flowers, and gifts! Come hungry… there will be LOTS of delicious food!
And it gets better... Listen to live music! Brilliant musicians perform at each market.

Chris and Jane keep things exciting by regularly adding new songs to their set, they might just introduce you to your next favorite tune! This program is for babies up to age 2, in person or in person or FaceBook live.  Babygarten is much more than a play group! Infants and their caregivers will share nursery rhymes, songs, and books; but also get a chance to make fun projects that celebrate the 
babies’ new stages.

Come and be sew-cial and meet other quilters and sewers in the community. 
Community Sew-cials are held at Irvington Baptist Church parish hall. Hours are 10:00 am-4:00 pm and you can stay for all or part of the time. The church will provide tables, chairs, and electricity. Bring all the supplies you need for the day as well as lunch, beverages, and snacks. Or, head across the street to The Local or The Office Bistro and grab something to eat and drink.
Proceeds from your reservation fee of $10 will be donated to the church for the use of their facilities.

Need sewing supplies? Stop by Sewlovelee (4504 Irvington Road), right down the road from the church.

2nd Sole plays a wide variety of music to please a wide variety of tastes. They play everything from rock to blues to R&B to Motown. The Band knows how to get a crowd moving. To keep things fresh, they are always adding new material to their set list. Here are just a few examples…
Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Grateful Dead, Marvin Gaye, Steely Dan, Bill Withers, The Eagles, Stray Cats, Aerosmith, Santana, Neville Brothers, Beatles, and many many more!
This is a ticketed event. Tickets are $10 and children under the age of 5 are free with a paying adult.
A picnic basket dinner is welcomed. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL is allowed. Food and beverage vendors will be on site. Please NO outside alcohol or dogs and remember to bring a chair or blanket to sit on.

From Mathews, Virginia, the Tidewinders bring classic bluegrass with a modern flair to the Music by the River stage. The band features the traditional instrumentation of banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, dobro and bass and is sure to get your feet tapping. Bring your family and invite the neighbors, because everyone will enjoy this show.

Our 2nd Annual International Yoga Day event! Come to the studio and experience Yoga as it was intended: simple, effective, gentle, and holistically beneficial for spiritual transformation.

 

This year we have invited our most dedicated students, the Yoga teachers of the NNK, to join us in providing a Hands-On Hatha Yoga session for the community. You will be guided through your session while instructors roam the studio providing their assistance to correct your alignment and get you deeper into the postures.

 

Ultimately this is a celebration of Yoga!Allow us to enrich your day with Authentic Yoga as we invite you to experience and share our beloved art and passion. Rishi Yoga & Wellness, always has, and will, provide Yoga for Everyone. All are welcome, we have props and chairs available so you can feel confident that we will give you a safe and effective modification. Please bring your own mats.

 

Tickets are free and required. We have space for approximately 30 people. A waiting list will open once tickets are all booked up.

NORTHERN NECK CHAMBERFEST TO CELEBRATE CHAMBER MUSIC 

WITH CONCERTS ON JUNE 22 IN WHITE STONE AND JUNE 25 IN KILMARNOCK

 

The Northern Neck Orchestra will host its second annual Chamberfest, a  summer celebration of the joys of chamber music through performance and instruction, with concerts on Thursday, June 22 and Sunday, June 25.

The first Chamberfest concert will feature a variety of “Music from France, Denmark and Sweden” at 7:30 p.m. on June 22 at The Lancaster Playhouse, 361 Chesapeake Drive, in White Stone.  The Chamberfest continues with a performance of “Music for Flute, Piano and Strings” at 2:00 p.m. on June 25 at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, in Kilmarnock.

Tickets for each concert are $30.00 and may be purchased at the door of online at www.northernneckorchestra.org
