The Irvington Farmers Market celebrates area farms and the best quality local produce available. We’re talking amazing farm-to-table! We showcase brilliant vendors from across the region who offer fabulous hand-crafted items and amazing food!
You'll find artisanal cheeses, local honey, meat, and seafood. Vendors with handmade crafts, jewelry, and clothing. Beautiful handcrafted furniture, baskets, soaps, glassware, and artwork of all kinds. A cornucopia of food, flowers, and gifts! Come hungry… there will be LOTS of delicious food!
And it gets better... Listen to live music! Brilliant musicians perform at each market.

Legendary southern rock and roll/blue eyed soul singer/songwriter, Hammond B-3 player, and independent recording artist. His albums have featured such friends as Jerry Wexler, Elliott Randall, Delbert McClinton, Ed King, Tony Joe White, Jim Horn, Don Wise, James Pennebaker, Mike Henderson, T. Graham Brown, Clifford Curry, Jimmy Black, and Roger Hawkins, David Hood, Barry Beckett and Jimmy Johnson of The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. His accomplishments include being the co-author of ``Sweet Virginia Breeze``, southern soul music chart-topper, and first call singer of national network commercial jingles.
This is a ticketed event. Tickets are $10 and children under the age of 5 are free with a paying adult.
A picnic basket dinner is welcomed. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL is allowed. Food and beverage vendors will be on site. Please NO outside alcohol or dogs and remember to bring a chair or blanket to sit on.

Belle Isle State Park is excited to welcome the Magnolia Blues Jazz Band to the Music by the River stage. Traveling all the way from Mississippi, this jazz ensemble of the 41st Army Band performs a wide spectrum of music from the early 20th century to Funk, Bebop and Modern Jazz. So grab your lawn chair, pack a picnic dinner, and come enjoy the show.

The Music by the River concert series is made possible by the sponsorship of many local businesses and by the Friends of Belle Isle State Park.  ​​​

Come and be sew-cial and meet other quilters and sewers in the community. 
Community Sew-cials are held at Irvington Baptist Church parish hall. Hours are 10:00 am-4:00 pm and you can stay for all or part of the time. The church will provide tables, chairs, and electricity. Bring all the supplies you need for the day as well as lunch, beverages, and snacks. Or, head across the street to The Local or The Office Bistro and grab something to eat and drink.
Proceeds from your reservation fee of $10 will be donated to the church for the use of their facilities.

Need sewing supplies? Stop by Sewlovelee (4504 Irvington Road), right down the road from the church.

Please bring your own sewing supplies including machine, cutting mat, rotary cutter, iron and ironing surface.

Register your crew for a fun day on the Rappahannock River.  Draw a sealed envelope containing a playing card at seven stops. Reveal for the best poker hand at Willaby's Beach.  Best of 5 cards win $5,000, second prize $1,000, third prize $500.  All proceeds will go to local charities.  Sponsorships available.

These talented musicians add their own flavor to some familiar rock and country classics and offer a little something for everyone. So, grab a friend and dust off your dancing shoes.
