With the increasing online sales opportunities for small businesses and the various e-commerce platforms available, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep business and personal information safe from hackers. Credit card data, personal identity information, and intellectual property are just a few of the data categories business owners need to consider when establishing their e-commerce strategy. This session will identify the most common threats and risk mitigation options available to small businesses seeking to conduct safe e-commerce transactions in the digital economy.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend an informational meeting with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) on June 15th regarding results from a safety assessment covering I-10 to the Maricopa city limits.

Through their research, ADOT confirmed that over the past five years, the intersection of SR-347 at Riggs Road has the 4th highest number of collisions for a signalized intersection on a state highway in Arizona. They aim to improve safety and traffic flow  through this public meeting and build a positive bridge with members of the community.

"This is the public's chance to hear directly from ADOT and continue building a positive relationship with their team as they work to make SR 347 safer for everyone," says Mayor Nancy Smith, "Equipped with this information graciously provided by ADOT, drivers will have a better understanding of how to get their families home safely every day."

ADOT will educate motorists utilizing SR 347 on accident trends in hopes of preventing future crashes. They will also give detailed explanations of their data to drivers, including crash factors, trends, peak times and common behaviors displayed by drivers.
