Guest Speaker: Maricopa Unified School District
Sponsored by: TBD
Spotlight Table: National First Response,
This complementary, casual ‘crash course’ informative meetup is just for you, to get to know your new city and all that it offers.
Learn about the history of Maricopa, where things are located, what exciting things are to come and meet other newcomers.
You'll leave with a folder full of helpful local business information, including discount coupons and a welcome bag full of goodies!
Since seating is limited and wanting to make sure I bring enough goodies for everyone, reservations are appreciated. Please private message or text 303-483-1330 with your name and how many seats you would like saved.
If you have been having trouble attending one of these newcomer meetups, be aware that I also do private welcome visits at, for example, a coffee shop, at a date and time that is more convenient for you. Again, just text 303-483-1330 so we can make arrangements for your own private New Resident Welcome Visit! Thank you and I look forward to meeting you all!

Funds will be raised for the DSPA GEMS non-profit dance program providing scholarships to children with special needs and financial assistance to families who need help making sure their child has the opportunity to pursue their dream. In return, kids who are receiving financial assistance are obligated to "pay it back" by helping other non-profits with community hours! $5 entry to cheer on your champion, 21+ only.

Speaker: CHAMBER 101 WITH KELLY
Our Ambassador Committee has been working with Staff to build a new Chamber 101 class to help onboard new members - and show prospective members as well - to all things Chamber including the tools available with your membership. In this lunch and learn session, Kelly will walk you all through the pilot of this class and toward more live trainings in the near future.
Come on out and help build a better program for future Chamber Members, and maybe learn a bit for yourself!

Join Us for The Opportunity Tree’s Annual Autumn Soirée!
Mark your calendars for October 18 from 5 PM to 8 PM at 3146 E. Windsor Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85008, as we host our second annual event celebrating community impact since we first opened our doors in 1963.
This event is dedicated to spreading awareness and promoting the development of a society that fully embraces individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through inclusion, advocacy, and opportunities.
Our Annual Autumn Soirée is an opportunity to celebrate community, inclusion, and impact. Our agency exists as both a support system for people with intellectual disabilities promoting quality of life through all stages of the life cycle, as well as a vehicle for positive social change and increased opportunity.
We invite everyone to come and experience firsthand the impact of our work. By purchasing tickets to the Soirée, you will be actively supporting our Members while also helping raise crucial funds that enable us to continue our mission of supporting people with intellectual & developmental disabilities in dynamic & innovative environments.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Opportunity Tree is federally tax-exempt and dedicated solely to charitable purposes. All financial support is used exclusively to further our mission, with no private interests served. Our Federal Tax ID Number is 86-0180419, and our QCO code is 20354.
Last year, our Annual Soirée celebrated 60 years of supports, creating a strong sense of community and awareness. This year, we aim to extend our reach beyond our local community to increase awareness about people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through inclusion, advocacy, and opportunities across all of Arizona.
Join us in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in dynamic and innovative environments.
Together, we are making a difference!
