A mysterious figure appears at your table, dressed in clothes from a bygone era, their eyes wide with confusion. This mysterious character, who identifies only as 'Circa,' is horrified to realize they’ve somehow ended up in the modern day. The world they remember, the world of Maupin in the late 1800s, is now a distant memory, with relics of their time preserved behind glass, displayed on shelves, and written about in history books. Circa has no memory of who they are or how they arrived in this time. Come celebrate with us: Wamic Community Church is 120 years old! This is an open house style event where the whole community is invited. We will have the church open with old photos and documents describing the history of the church. We will have snack foods and drinks available. We also will have silent auction items for bid to help the church raise funds for a new roof, new heating/air system, upgraded sound equipment and more. Come out for our first Fall Paint Night! Dita has picked a great picture for anyone 12 or older. Cost is $35 that includes paint and canvas. 21 and over you get a glass of wine or beer and under 21 you get a soft drink. Who doesn't love a Witch on a Paddleboard? October 17th will be a full moon, and we want to gather all of the local Witches and paddle from the South Boat Launch to the Marina! Plan to meet at the Stockyard at 5pm for your Halloween Treats and then to the South Launch to Paddle in your Witchyist Costume across the lake to the Marina and Lucky's! Please bring your PFDs for safety! There will be a shuttle bus at Lucky's to get you back to your cars are the South Launch.... Let's get our Witch ON!Thursday, October 17, 2024

This Halloween, for one night only, encounter ghostly corridors, quirky characters, and eerie surprises! Our second floor promises spooky-fun for little ones, offering thrills without too many chills, while the third floor dials up the creepy factor.Trick-or-treaters of all ages welcome!
