Where would a student be if they were to start the first day of school without pens, paper, binder, computer, and other supplies? These items are vital to ensuring a student’s success. Success is also the goal of Bloodworks Northwest when it comes to having enough blood for patients in need, and we can only do it with your help. To avoid reaching emergency low levels in our local blood supply, Bloodworks Northwest asks you to consider taking one hour to donate blood. Donating blood helps maintain a safe and reliable supply for our community, a supply ready for those needing transfusions. We are still in the heat of summer, when vacations, high temperatures, and activities keep people from donating regularly. But the need is constant. On behalf of local hospitals, we urge new and returning donors to keep our blood supply community ready by booking an appointment today.
