own Center Trick-or-Treat – Friday, October 25, 4:00pm – 6:00pm
The Chamber of Commerce and the City of Mercer Island have partnered again this year to host Town Center Trick-or-Treating. The route is open to any business who would like to hand out treats!
For this event, we will provide:
- A pumpkin window decal to show that your business is a stop on the route.
- Inclusion on the Trick or Treat map – The map will be available digitally and in print form. We will also set out A-frames at stops the day of the event.
By signing up to participate, business agree to:
- Hand out treats to community members – Where possible, we encourage businesses to keep treats outdoors to limit gathering indoors and keep a better flow.
- Promote the event through your specific channels – We can provide copy and images/visuals for newsletters, social media, etc. Just let us know what you need!
- We encourage businesses to get into the spirit by decorating your windowfronts, wearing costumes, and offering other themed activities. However, none of that is necessary to be included on the route that we promote.
This event brings out many families and they get a chance to explore downtown and learn about businesses they might not have been to before, we recommend being prepared for 600 trick or treaters.
To join the Town Center Trick-or-Treat map, please email Katie Herzog: Katie.herzog@mercerisland.gov by Wednesday, October 16.
