What’s the Prince William Little Theatre to do when the Royal Shakespeare Company doesn’t show up to perform their stirring rendition of A Christmas Carol? Well, they pull up their boot straps and attempt to put on a show with their fearless band of hapless actors and technicians as they pull together their own production in less than seven hours!

Have you ever heard rumors of backstage mayhem? Well, you’ll have yourself a delightful, comedy-filled taste! This extremely fast-paced, physical comedy proves that sometimes everything that CAN go wrong WILL go wrong!

This fascinating and richly intricate original crime epic brilliantly weaves historical fact with fiction for a timely, cinematic experience. In the 1930s, three friends witness a murder, are framed for it, and uncover one of the most shocking secret plots in American history. Amsterdam’s all star cast includes Academy Award winners and nominees Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, Rami Malek, Robert De Niro in addition to John David Washington, Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Taylor Swift and Zoe Saldaña.

The film was inspired by the Business Plot, a 1933 political conspiracy in which wealthy American businessmen and bankers plotted a military coup d'état to overthrow President FDR and replace him with a fascist veterans' organization headed by U.S. Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler. The plot was revealed in a testimony under oath to the U.S. House of Representatives' Special Committee on Un-American Activities in 1934. The committee concluded that a plot was indeed concocted, but none of the plotters were prosecuted.

Inspired by one of the most beloved British family films of all time, RAILWAY CHILDREN is an enchanting, moving, and heart-warming adventure for a new generation. Set in rural England against the backdrop of WW2 when children are flooding into the countryside to escape the bombing of industrial cities. Three evacuee children- Lily, Pattie and Ted Watts- are sent by their mother from Salford to the Yorkshire village of Oakworth. With the help of Bobbie Waterbury (Jenny Agutter), a group of young evacuees are taken into her rural home and begin to settle into their new life. But when the children encounter a young soldier who, like them, is far away from home, a true adventure ensues.

For many people, the holiday season does not bring with it the joy and happiness we see in greeting cards and Hallmark movies.  We may be grieving loved ones who have passed or who are distant, in heart or geography.  Our struggles might be with health, finances, relationships, work, or other troubles in the wider world.  Likely, we feel the weight of several of these heartaches.

Blue Christmas services offer sacred space for people experiencing difficult times when the world around them seems to put a premium on expressing joy.  Our service, held just before the longest night of the year, will focus on acknowledging our loss and grief, recognizing that hope, love, joy and peace can be distant feelings.
