On Borrowed Time, by Paul Osborn, has been referred to as “a cute little comedy about death.”
Gramps, a cantankerous old man, is determined to look after and protect his orphaned grandson, Pud, from his conniving Aunt Demetria. When death comes into their lives, personified by the character Mr. Brink, Gramps tricks him with the help of a magical apple tree, and puts an end to death as we know it. Gramps eventually realizes that death is a part of life, and humanity cannot live without it.
The necessity of death is thoughtfully contemplated while providing an endearing picture of a man’s abiding love for his grandson.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure. Avatar takes us to a world beyond imagination, where a newcomer from Earth embarks on an epic adventure, ultimately fighting to save the alien world he has learned to call home. James Cameron, the Oscar®-winning director of Titanic, delivers an immersive cinematic experience of a new kind, where revolutionary technology disappears into the emotion of the characters and the sweep of the story.
Each Saturday, our men's group Curmudgeons for Christ meets at 9:00am in the fellowship hall for fellowship, followed by a topical video, and conversation. As it says, you don't have to be a grumpy old man to join, as it's actually a pretty friendly group

Passive and Co.
Chris Retallack and Keely Nesbit have been called a “dynamic duo” (by themselves). They’ve also been called “quirky and charming” by someone who wrote an article about them once. Fans describe Passive & Co as “my son” and “my daughter.” Let the reviews speak for themselves, and come listen to some mellow, moderately-paced folk music, guaranteed to make you feel better and/or worse!
