Born and raised in Los Angeles, Armen procured a love for art at a young age. Growing up, he worked with different mediums and explored a variety of designs in the world of graffiti, utilizing various materials to create original abstract geometric art.
As a self-taught artist, his style evolved over the years, creating a truly authentic form of geometric abstract art. His colorful art can be seen as non-traditional and innovative, taking from his environment and utilizing a bright hued palette filled with movement. He received his Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Visual Public Art at California State University, Monterey Bay. Each piece not only challenges him mentally but physically.

Join local artist Diane Bowman for a Mixed Media Card making workshop.
The workshop begins by making a Master Sheet of mixed media work, 9in x 12in or larger, before cutting it into 9 or more pieces to then affix to the front of blank cards.
Artists will begin their Master Sheet with collage, before adding paint, stencils, stamping, mark making, and hand drawn botanicals to create their own unique masterpiece.

Calling local producers and folks who work to support local food!LARP Co-Op, Lost Sierra Food Project, and Modoc Harvest invite you to our first EPIC (Eastside Producers Informational Collaborative) meeting! Producers will share successes and hurdles so we can learn from one another. We will brainstorm about expanding access to local and regional markets as well as the potential for producer grants. There is quite a bit of funding out there for producers right now, especially if we can figure out how to work together! So join us and become part of a team of producers working to strengthen the Northeastern CA foodshed. We know farmers are busy people so even though it's an EPIC meeting, we will keep it short and focused! See you soon!
