Dr. Spencer Cruttenden, a chiropractor and sports medicine specialist, will be presenting the workshop at Gansner Park in Quincy. Dr. Cruttenden has treated patients from professional world cup racers to weekend warriors over the last 15 years in his Truckee and Portola offices.
Organizers say this event is aimed at cyclists looking to address pain on the bike, avoid it in the future, or improve performance and enjoyment while riding. The class is suitable for all ages, biking abilities and fitness levels. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat if they have one, and to wear clothes they can move in. The event is donation based, and all proceeds support the nonprofit Lost Sierra Composite Mountain Bike Team.
