Wednesday, April 2. Harlan Community High School Students will contribute several hours of volunteer work in the many communities that HCHS serves. 

Persons are asked to call the high school at 712-755-3101 and asked for Jami Andersen. You can also contact her via email. Jobs will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to call is Wednesday, March 26.

Iowa Western Community College, in partnership with First Responders Foundation, is offering free first responders specific training sessions at their Council Bluffs, Clarinda, Page/Fremont, and Shelby County locations. These courses focus on enhancing skills, personal growth, wellness, and community impact for first responders. Classes will be held from 6 - 8 pm. 

Training courses are free and open to the public Register today.

Silent reading will begin at 5:30 pm. Participants are encouraged to grab one of Milk & Honey's specialty drinks or a snack to munch on while enjoying their book. Reading will last for 45 minutes and then the last 15 minutes will be used to discuss what everyone is reading.
