Sankt Hans Aften, or Saint John’s Eve, is a Danish style midsummer festival. Join us at the Museum of Danish America for rød pølse, s’mores and snobrød, and a bonfire at sunset! The museum is open for browsing and shopping, and we encourage you to bring your own lawn games, seating, beverages, etc. Live music and theater programs are often a part of the celebration. Join us for Silent Book Club. Silent reading will begin at 5:30pm. Participants are encouraged to grab one of Milk & Honey's specialty drinks or a snack to munch on while enjoying their book. Reading will last for 45 minutes, and then the last 15 minutes will be used to discuss what everyone is reading. We are excited to partner with Milk & Honey on this new reading adventure!

Embark on an unforgettable journey back in time to the age of Vikings! Our action-packed Viking Camp offers a thrilling and educational experience, connecting the legendary Norse seafarers to the rich tapestry of Danish culture. Held in collaboration with the Danish Windmill.
Who should join the adventure:
This camp is perfect for curious kids (grades 4th - 8th), eager to explore history, engage in hands-on activities, and discover the fascinating world of the Vikings and their connection to Danish culture. Lunch Provided.
