Don’t miss the 3rd Annual Wildflower and Weed Show, a celebration of California’s diverse flora! At noon, Antonio Sanchez will deliver an enlightening lecture titled “Inviting California to Dinner: Bringing California Native Plant Foods into Your Life and the Future of Native Plant Agriculture.” Dive into the rich world of local flora with a specimen show featuring wildflowers and weeds, accompanied by information on local plants and pollinators. Learn about biodiversity through an iNaturalist demonstration or enhance your garden with plants from the sale. Engage your little ones with special kids’ activities and explore the gardens on guided tours led by UC Master Gardeners.

You’re invited to the Santa Paula Art Museum’s 14th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, April 20, 2024! In honor of the Museum’s Limoneira Building turning 100 this year, we’re going to party like it’s 1924! Join us inside the Museum from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a Roaring ‘20s evening of art, live music and dancing, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and more. The party will include the presentation of the 2024 Mary Alice Orcutt Henderson Visionary Award to Lee Cole in recognition of his extraordinary vision and support of the Santa Paula Art Museum. Cocktail and/or 1920s attire are encouraged!

Awards will be presented in several categories, including Citizen of the Year- Ruth Rope, Small Business of the Year- El Capricho Restaurant, Large Business of the Year - The Port of Hueneme, Non-Profit of the Year- Museum of Ventura County, Sam Edwards Lifetime Achievement Award - Albino Pineda, Community Service Award - Kay Wilson-Bolton, and Business Beautification Award - Blanchard Community Library.
