Chamber Small Business Committee Meeting
Small Business Committee's purpose is to provide value to The Chamber's small business members through educational, programming, and other small business services by working with
SBA, SCORE, and other small business programs.

Meets 1st Wednesday of each month at 11:30 am.

UAS Pilots from over 20 colleges across the nation will travel to Grand Forks, ND, to test their skills and determine the fastest pilot in the country with speeds topping over 100 mph. This is the third year UND will host the Collegiate Drone Racing Championship. The event is scheduled for April 9th and 10th, 2022. The event will be held in the UND High Performance Center. Usually, an indoor training facility for the Fighting Hawks athletics teams will transform into a championship drone racing course. The HPC is a 200,000-square-foot, climate-controlled facility that features bleacher seating and space for pilots and spectators. This event will also feature a kid's zone and activities, concessions, and more. Free Public Admission. For more info visit: und.edu/cdrc

Join us for our annual Indoor Triathlon! Swim, bike and walk/run in the comfort of the indoors. This event is for anyone who has a sense of adventure. Because the events are timed, there is no need to worry about achieving a certain distance..You can be as competitive as you wish.

Join us on Saturday, April 9that 2pm at the Empire Arts Center for a special screening of the award-winning documentary The Red River Flood.  The film chronicles the strength of the communities in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks, 25 years after the 1997 flood.
 
Following the film, join director David Kuznicki for cookies, coffee, a Q&A session and an opportunity for the audience to share memories from the 1997 flood.  
 
This film is the second film in the Empire Arts Center’s Homegrown Films series, screening Saturday afternoons in April.  Tickets are available for $8 at www.EmpireArtsCenter.com.

This educational programming seeks to develop the professional, personal and leadership skills of Chamber member employees and networking events foster connections with thousands of others in the business community.

Our Brown Bag Seminars provide educational programming for the local business community. Seminars are researched and promoted by the Chamber Small Business Committee. With each seminar we offer a survey to the attendees. This survey helps our Small Business better plan seminars that are timely and pertinent to the community.

Hosting opportunities are typically booked 2 years in advance.
