Celebrate the Grand Reopening of the Children’s Department and the start of the Summer Reading Program on Saturday, June 3. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m., followed by the Kickoff Party from 2-4 p.m. Check out the refreshed space, take a spin down the slide, and pick up your summer reading goodie bag (including mini LEGO kits, while supplies last). Run for Your Buns is an annual 5K run/walk benefiting colon cancer prevention. Net proceeds will be donated to Altru Health Foundation to help uninsured and underinsured individuals pay for screening colonoscopies. Everyone is invited to join in on the 10th Annual and final Run For Your Buns 5K on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 8 a.m.! This family friendly race promotes health and fitness, while raising awareness for colon cancer screening.
