Unlocking Wellness Compliance
Thursday, February 15, 2024
12:00pm - 1:00pm

Most employers have some type of wellness program, even if they don’t realize that they have one. Wellness programs come in different shapes and sizes, ranging from the simple step challenge up to progress requirements on key health factors. These programs can be broad in implementation, focusing on holistic wellbeing, or streamlined to address a particular condition, such as diabetes or musculoskeletal. All the more reason why wellness programs can be a bit confusing.
But there are some common compliance issues that run through wellness program. Our webinar will focus on these requirements, such as:
• The different types of wellness arrangements (i.e., active, participatory and health outcome contingent);
• Understanding how tobacco surcharges fall under wellness programs; and
• The impact that wellness programs have on an employer’s ACA affordability analysis.
Please join us for our 1-hour webinar on February 15, 2024 at 12 PM CST/11 AM MTN.

Gable Pines - Breakfast for a Cause

2/22/2024

Guest Presenter - Regan Birr, Lupus Foundation
Washington Square Grill | February 22nd | 11:30am - 1:00pm
We will have the pleasure of hearing from Regan Birr, Speaker, Lupus Patient, Engineer, Fitness Coach. Regan believes we all have potential to live productively. She shares her journey with lupus, and going from needing a cane to curling for a cure, to illustrate that we CAN have the life we want. A leading employee complaint from 2022 is workers want a better work-life balance. Leading causes of personal unhappiness are tiredness, stress, and loneliness. These tie together, and can result in unhealthy habits like procrastination and staying stagnant. Physical and mental health challenges can hold us back. Regan shows that we don’t have to live in that belief. She discusses ways to increase energy and decrease pain, so we can strike that balance. We can all change and it starts with our self.
Improving our personal conduct and performance and moving beyond limtations makes us stronger! Taking care of our selves helps take care of business.
  1. Identify: Admit and be honest about our limitations. Potentially share them with others.
  2. Adapt: Change can be scary. Learn how to think about accepting tools, and create your own.
  3. Do: Mindset, diet and exercise techniques (with a twist) show how to implement these adaptations.
The only cost to attend is for your food and beverage. Register today as space is limited.
