7/20/2021Ribbon Cutting: Dye Hard Salon (Rescheduled - Note New Date)
Help us welcome Dye Hard Salon to the Fenton community with an official Ribbon Cutting celebration! This new hair salon is staffed with experienced hair artists, featuring some stylists formerly from American Hairitage Salon in Fenton. All stylists and nail technicians are independent contractors. Enjoy refreshments and get entered in to a drawing for prizes. We hope you can join us!

Ribbon Cuttings are an important and exciting part of the Fenton Chamber's role of supporting businesses in the community. We advocate for members of the Fenton Chamber by encouraging patronizing Chamber member businesses and doing business locally in order to keep the Fenton area thriving!

7/31/2021“Celebrating Meg” 2021 Cornhole Tournament

Looking for sponsors and players!!!

Need raffle basket items.

For the last 7 years, we have always done a Cardinal’s game to raise money for the scholarship. We would sell anywhere from 500-1000 tickets! But last year we could not (obvious reasons) and this year, we are not able to get an entire section at Busch Stadium because of restrictions.

With the Cornhole Tournament, we are having court sponsors, along with raffle baskets. 100% of the proceeds from the fundraiser go to the scholarship fund at SEMO.

Meg, along with our entire family grew up in the St. Louis area, attending Rockwood Summit for high school and all still live in the St. Louis area.

My sister passed away September 2012 at the age of 21, after being hit by a truck while riding a scooter to work in Cape Girardeau. They had to transfer her via helicopter to Barnes in St. Louis because of the extent of her injuries. Eventually, our family was forced to make the decision of letting Meg choose who own fate with God. She passed away 11 days later after taking her off life support.

Meg became an organ and tissue donor on September 20th, 2012. She touched 17 people’s lives. Our family had the opportunity to meet the amazing woman who has her left kidney, and we are blessed to still stay in touch with her, almost 9 years later.

Meg was a senior at SEMO and played soccer and in the nursing program.

The scholarship gets awarded to a soccer player who is in the medical field every year.

Please let me know if you have any questions!!!
