Founded in 2001 by Dr. Kim Moore, a renowned Peanut Breeder, AgResearch Consultants Inc., commonly known as ACI Seeds, is dedicated to the development of high oleic peanut varieties suitable for peanut production regions both in the U.S. and globally. ACI Seeds combines this focus with expert consulting services for the commercial development and production of peanuts, both domestically and internationally.
ACI Seeds operates a state-of-the-art in-house testing laboratory to support its breeding programs and ensure rigorous internal quality control. This lab also offers its testing services to the broader peanut industry.
With an extensive seed germplasm collection and robust global research initiatives, ACI Seeds has developed a range of peanut varieties that are likely to meet diverse agricultural needs. Currently, the company is excited about more than 10 promising pre-commercial peanut varieties in its pipeline. These varieties exhibit superior performance traits tailored for both U.S. and international markets and are expected to be available to growers in commercial quantities within the next 2 to 3 years.
