Neighborhood Community Development Fund, formerly known as the “Northside Community Development Fund,” is a well-established community loan fund based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With over 20 years of experience, our organization has been dedicated to promoting economic opportunity and community revitalization in Pittsburgh’s Northside and beyond.
Our mission is to create thriving communities for all by providing capital to spur business and job growth, the creation of affordable housing, and the redevelopment of Allegheny County neighborhoods. We are committed to serving underserved populations, including racial and ethnic minorities and women, by ensuring that all of our activities include opportunities for all members of the community.
As part of our efforts to support small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, Neighborhood Community Development Fund is proud to be one of 17 Community Development Financial Institutions (CFDIs) selected to help administer the PA Coronavirus Small Business Assistance Program. This program will provide $225 million in grants to eligible businesses in Pennsylvania. Our organization will be expanding beyond our Northside roots to serve all applicable businesses in Allegheny, Beaver, Greene, Lawrence and Washington counties.
We understand the importance of supporting historically disadvantaged business owners during these challenging times. By leveraging our expertise and resources, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the economic recovery of our communities.
