Donnelly-Boland and Associates was founded by Fay K. Boland, CPA and incorporated in 1992 to provide expert accounting services to small businesses, nonprofits and government agencies that needed an affordable alternative to in-house accounting functions. Heart, GPC, M.Ed. has 22 years of experience providing social mission-driven grant services to nonprofit organizations in Western PA including 16 years offering grant training regionally and nationally through Heart Resources LLC. She earned the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential in 2013 and was named the first Approved Trainer by the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) in 2014. Katherine has developed grant curricula and provided grant training for nonprofits, municipalities, colleges and universities, United Ways, faith-based, and national associations. Customized virtual and in-person events are available. Katherine is the author of Grantepreneur: Getting Started in a Grant Career and Business (Red Engine Press, 2016), a highly-reviewed award-winning book providing a complete guide to the growing grant profession. Katherine has contributed expertise and time to community projects, committees, and publications. She is a co-facilitator and sponsor of the Grant Café, a free monthly meetup providing ?hot grant topics, speakers, and networking? in collaboration with experienced colleagues that has grown to hundreds of members. Her previous experience includes program and training manager positions at several Pittsburgh area nonprofit organizations.
