Arizona Orthopedic Physical Therapy (AZOPT) was established in 2007 in Goodyear, with the goal of providing quality, personalized care by passionate and enthusiastic therapists. In 2014, we opened our Buckeye location, and in 2017, our Glendale location. We employ only highly educated and licensed therapists so our patients can rest assured they are receiving the best when addressing their health. At AZOPT, you can count on a professional, yet relaxed environment with a unique balance of fun and hard work as patients and therapists work together to achieve results. Whether your goal is to return to work, sports, or other activities of daily living, AZOPT believes everyone should have the opportunity to Feel Better, Function Better, and Live Better.
The Physical Therapy Service at the Midwestern University Therapy Institute offers one-on-one, individualized treatments based on a thorough assessment of underlying movement or neuromuscular problems, along with home exercises and instruction in functional activities to maximize patients' involvement in their treatment. Our goal is to help patients return to the highest level of function and wellness possible through evidenced-based practice, compassion, and outstanding service. Experienced physical therapists diagnose and treat back and neck pain, joint pain and dysfunction, post-surgical orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and neurological conditions such as stroke and acquired brain injury. Treatments include posture training, body mechanics, joint mobilization/manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, strengthening, flexibility, coordination training, gait training, relaxation/meditation, and specialized chronic pain treatments. The Therapy Institute houses one of only a few Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN) virtual reality therapy systems in the United States.
