About Us

Tricia, the head pitmaster, is a resident of Mesquite Nevada for the past 10 years. I have been involved in the Service Industry and I am still in the Real Estate business

I decided that I would like to try something different and my
vision for the business was inspired by my Aunt Patti owns "Smokin Lightning" in the Shuswap, B.C., Canada.

Tricia trained with Myron Mixon of Georgia. I found Smoken'Grind in Arizona which was owned by a wonderful couple and who was selling the business. My first day of operation in Mesquite was January 28, 2020.

Smoken'Grind is a company licensed for a food truck business in Nevada. Soon after obtaining a license, an agreement was made with Lee's Liquor in Mesquite Nevada for the business to plant roots in their parking lot. This site is awesome as there are many people from many places shopping at Lee's Liquor. On the days, weather permitted, l have tables and chairs for your outdoor enjoyment.
