The Oasis Golf Club is Mesquite’s only semi-private 36-hole golf facility. Arnold Palmer designed the Palmer course in 1991 for his good friend, Si Redd. The “Vistas 9” opened at the same time and in 2005 became the back nine of the Canyons.
The Palmer Course is one of Arnold Palmer’s top ten favorite designs! Palmer was quoted once in his monthly magazine that #5, #6 & #8 are in the top 18 holes he has ever designed.
The practice area is the largest in Mesquite. It includes the driving range and a short game practice area complete with putting and target greens. PGA instruction includes private lessons, clinics, and beginner/intro golf classes.
The exquisite and spacious 17,000-square-foot Clubhouse is nestled between the Palmer and the Canyons courses. The Clubhouse includes two dining facilities, each with a fully stocked bar, golf shop, locker rooms, and two members-only lounges. The views from the restaurant patio overlook the Virgin Mountains, which border the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
The Beverage Cart attendants service both courses with hot dogs, snacks, sodas, and adult beverages. Additionally, there is a snack shack on each course. The Palmer Stand is located just after hole 8. The Canyons Snack Shack is located after hole 9. Of course, food and beverage services are Cash Only. There is an ATM located inside the Clubhouse, near the Worden Restaurant, and at the Canyons Snack Shack. Water fountains are located outside ALL course restrooms.
