Setting up your directory page makes your business, products and services easier to locate within our membership directory when your potential customers search our website. Customers don't always know the business name for the service they need, so they search key words that describe the product or service they are looking for. Setting up your directory page allows for all the words on your page to be included in the search. For example: Our member, Baird Painting , offers more than painting. But a potential customer wouldn't necessarily know that just by looking at their business name. If a customer is looking for someone to do drywall repair at their home, they might come to our website and search the key word 'drywall'. Because Baird Painting has their directory page set up, their business will show up in the search as they also do drywall repair. Try it by clicking here and entering drywall in the keyword search area. Now, test it for your business. Enter keywords that a potential customer may search if they are looking for a service you offer and make adjustments if necessary -which very well may mean setting up your directory page. Setting up your directory page will also help your overall indexing status on the big wide web. Because your directory is included in our Chamber website and we are all linked together that way, it makes us all more likely to be a top hit on a web search.
