About Us

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, the first full-service acute care hospital in the community of Midlothian, is your choice for trusted care. Conveniently located on a 67-acre campus near U.S. Highway 287, the five-story medical center features innovative technology and provides a variety of services for your family. 

Together with independently practicing physicians on the medical staff, the hospital is committed to quality, safety, innovation, and the health of our communities. Major areas of focus include surgery, emergency care, women’s services, orthopedics, cardiology, imaging, oncology, and more.

Currently, Methodist Midlothian features 46 licensed beds for inpatient care. However, the hospital has plans to support the projected growth in the region and includes shell space for future expansion, which will include 37 additional beds. This could bring the hospital to more than 80 licensed beds during its first few years.

The emergency department includes 16 beds and gives residents timely care that is supported by other hospital services when needed. The surgical department’s operating suites are designed to support many procedures — from robotic surgery, advanced orthopedic care, cardiac cath lab and more.
