About The Forgotten Ones Animal Rescue
We take animals that are suffering in local shelters. Without rescues like ours, these animals would most often suffer from no medical attention or simply be euthanized at the shelter. We provide all the necessary medical treatment, vaccinations, microchips, heartworm preventative (and treatment if necessary), flea and tick treatment, and spay/neuter. They are placed in a loving foster home where they heal from their injuries, both mental and physical. Our fosters work on socialization, crate training, potty training, and anything else these animals need.
Our Needs
Our biggest need funds. Our biggest expense is vet care. Most of the dogs we take in have serious issues, such as broken bones from being hit by a car, serious mange or other skin issues from neglect, gunshot wounds, embedded collars, are pregnant, and usually are heartworm positive. We take care of all of these issues, vaccinate, and spay/neuter before looking for their forever home.
