About Community Blood Center of the Ozarks
Community Blood Center of the Ozarks
Welcome to Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), a beacon of hope and lifeline to patients across the Ozarks since 1995. Our commitment to meeting the transfusion needs of individuals in thirty-eight hospitals has been unwavering, thanks to the invaluable support of donors and volunteers like you.
Daily, we proudly deliver over 250 blood donations to hospitals in southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas, and southeast Kansas. The impact of your donations and volunteer efforts reverberate throughout the region, saving lives and providing vital support to those in need.
Hospitals in our service area exclusively rely on the generosity of CBCO donors for all blood and blood products transfused to patients. Your contributions play a crucial role in sustaining the health and well-being of our community.
With Donor Centers strategically located in Springfield, Joplin, Springdale, and Bentonville, as well as numerous mobile blood drives held daily, we strive to make the donation process convenient and accessible to all. Your involvement ensures that our region maintains a stable and sufficient blood supply.
As a not-for-profit organization, CBCO is dedicated to delivering the highest quality blood and blood products to our partner hospitals at the lowest possible cost. We prioritize the well-being of our community and continually work towards enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
At CBCO, we take pride in our participation in the innovative Life Points program, an awards initiative that recognizes and honors the dedication of our donors. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we are committed to acknowledging and celebrating the impact you make through your generosity.
