Established in July 2004, BreLaw is the result of a merger and expansion that brought together one of Central Illinois' oldest law firms. Our journey began in 1971 when Jon D. Robinson joined the esteemed Decatur law firm of Hull, Campbell & Robinson. In 2004, Jon joined forces with T.G. Bolen and Christopher M. Ellis to form BreLaw, combining decades of legal experience and expertise under one roof.
Since our inception, BreLaw has experienced rapid growth, fueled by a commitment to excellence and a dedication to serving our clients' needs. Over the years, our team has expanded to include talented legal professionals like Shane Mendenhall, Drew Hickey, Matthew Spain, Josh Rohrscheib, Nrupa Patel, and Zach Anderson. Together, we have cultivated a reputation for providing top-notch legal services across a diverse range of practice areas.
In 2017, we reached another milestone with the merger of BreLaw and the Sullivan law firm of Wood & Mayberry, expanding our reach and adding the legendary Moultrie County attorney Steve Wood to our team. Subsequent years saw further growth, with the addition of new offices in Bloomington and Lincoln, Illinois, and the arrival of Andrew Wessler and Courtney Anderson to our Decatur team. In 2021, we were honored to welcome Dan L. Flannell to our Sullivan office, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his distinguished career in the judiciary.
