To Challenge: To engage a person's heart in the act of helping others.
To Serve: To be the hands and feet of the Lord serving the hurting locally.
To Last: To develop financial stability so that future generations will be served.
The Harvest Compassion Center, a local food and clothing bank located at E. Thunderbird and Tatum, is fully funded and operated by Mitchell Swaback Charities, Inc. (MSC) MSC was created in 2004 after Mitchell died in a drowning accident, to carry on his legacy of serving others we opened the Harvest Compassion Center to meet the needs of the community especially after the economic crisis. We are a 501(c) who accepts donations year round to keep our doors open, we offer free good, hygiene, baby and clothing items to ANYONE living in Arizona once every 30 days. We also hold back-to-school supply and Christmas Toy drives in July and December. Since opening our doors in 2011, we have served over 18,000 families!
Please consider contacting us today about volunteering as a team, holding a food or hygiene drive or to come in for a tour. We are open to serve the public Monday/Wednesday 9am to 11:30 am and Saturday 2-4:30 pm. On our off days we host field trips and groups.
