The Treatment
The current world of orthodontics is very exciting with new state-of-the-art technologies being developed at a rapid pace. Dr. Held and our Team endeavor to stay at the forefront of what is available and proven in orthodontics. We see patients of all ages and offer a variety of treatment options, depending upon the needs of those patients. Dr. Held offers comfortable early treatment, the newest metal and clear braces, and Invisalign for teens and adults. And of course, we follow HIPAA Mandates to the highest level. Throughout your time with us, we will do everything possible to make your orthodontic treatment fun, efficient, effective, and safe.
The Sterilization
In addition to our caring, state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment, another main item that sets us apart is our strict adherence to OSHA & CDC Guidelines on sterilization, disinfection, and patient protection. We believe that the guidelines & mandates are set in place for good reason -- for protection. Thus, we do everything in our power to provide you with a clean, safe environment, where you can be sure that you are protected. In fact, our office was professionally endorsed as an illustration of exemplary sterilization for an orthodontic office by an internationally recognized sterilization expert. We have a state-of-the-art sterilization bay. We use a cassette system, with instruments residing within the cassettes and packaged to a surgical level. For your protection, we use two separate safety methods to ensure that proper sterilization of all instruments has been achieved. To avoid contamination of instruments, we only unwrap cassettes once patients are seated. Additionally, we do not have any gluteraldehyde (i.e. "cold sterile solution") on the premises, as that chemical is caustic and has been shown to be not as consistently effective at sterilizing instruments as the methods we use. Rest assured that we are doing everything possible to make sure that you are safe.

Dr. Held has a practice vision which includes having a classy & fun practice. From the interior decoration, to the computer check-in, to the memory foam chairs, to the educational aids, to the bulletin board, to our website, and to our celebrative spirit, you will see why our office is unique.
