Kacie Derby - Advanced Planning Manager
I grew up in O'Fallon Missouri and now I live in Wentzville with My husband Chris and our kids Reagan, Landon, and Harper. I was an entertainment management major in college at Missouri State University and wanted to be a wedding and event planner. After doing corporate events for a few years at Brunswick Zone in St. Peters I started at Baue Funeral Homes and have now been there for 8 years and loved every minute of it.
Baue's mission is to touch hearts and honor life. My teams piece of that is helping families plan their funeral services, cemetery, and final wishes ahead of time to protect their families from the emotional and financial burden that comes with having to plan a funeral at the time of need. We pride ourselves in taking care of the community and families before and after a death as well as in their time of grief and loss. We do this by hosting memorial events and other community events, offering grief support groups and counseling, housing the Silver & Gold Senior Club (a social events club for those 60+), giving educational presentations and tours to show the community what we do and most importantly, WHY we do it. I love seeing the relief on families faces when they know this is taken care of and now they wont have to think about it again and their families will not be left with those difficult tasks and decisions.
I would recommend the O'Fallon chamber to anyone! I have been a member at Brunswick and at Baue and from the start everyone was so welcoming and fun and the members really do business together. It is a great organization and gets better every year and I am proud to be a part of it!
