The new Credential Training Program administered by Missouri One Start, the workforce division within the Missouri Department of Economic Development, might be a great option for your organization!
The goal of upskilling is to equip employees with the tools they need to succeed in their current positions, prepare them for future roles, and foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization. It can take various forms, such as workshops, online courses, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
The Credential Training Program is a competitive grant that helps employers offset the cost of industry-related employee credentialing. Eligible employers can submit applications for one month each quarter, with up to $30,000 max per fiscal year.
The first application period is open now through October 31st.
