September is National Workforce Development Month!
This September, we join communities across the nation in celebrating National Workforce Development Month! This is a time to recognize the people and partnerships that strengthen our local talent pipeline. At the Chamber, we know that preparing a strong workforce starts with bringing together businesses, schools, training providers, and community organizations to create opportunities for growth and success.
Workforce development is about more than filling jobs. It’s about helping students explore career pathways, supporting job seekers as they gain new skills, and ensuring every member of our community has access to opportunities that lead to long-term success. By working together, we’re not only helping individuals build meaningful careers, we’re also building a stronger, more resilient community for everyone.
This month, we celebrate the educators guiding students, the employers opening their doors to training and apprenticeships, and the community partners who help connect people with the tools they need to thrive. When our community works together to invest in people, we all benefit.
